Maçanita Viosinho 2022
CONCEPT: Mac?anita Vinhos is a project born from a brother and a sister both winemakers. Wines crafted by two hands. Some wines, although produced together, are the vision and passion of each of the siblings. This is an extreme Viosinho, from high altitude, blowing with freshness. This wine shows the potential of this variety, in its pure and mineral side, embracing at the same time all its fruit and exuberance. Its Joaninhas Viosinho.
ORIGIN: Baixo Corgo, Poiares, at 700m altitude, 15 years-old vineyard.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in 18kg boxes. In the winery, whole bunch pressing, cold settling, spontaneous fermentation in horizontal vats. Ageing 5 months in stainless steel.
TASTING NOTES: A fresh, pure and mineral wine that embraces all the fruit and exuberance of the Viosinho variety at the same time. Pineapple aroma, with notes of citric fruit.
Serve with oysters, seafood, pasta, grilled fish, mixed salads and white meat dishes.
