Proibido Marufo 2021
The Marufo variety, very present in the old vineyards, has been in our best lots since 2012. At the Upper Douro, namely at a vineyard that is about 30 years old, we found a vineyard planted with the Marufo (Mourisco) variety and in 2018 we let this variety shine solo.

Vinification: The grapes were stomped in a small lagar. Fermentation started spontaneously and lasted approximately 20 days. The wine stayed in the lagar for about 2 months. It then aged for 8 months in used 400L barrels.
