Quinta de San Michel Malvasia 2022 (VR Lisboa, Sintra) is a Malvasia de Colares from clay-limestone soils under strong maritime influence. Hand-harvested (20 kg boxes), gently pressed, fermented in French oak for 15 days, then aged 8 months in barrel (15% new) on fine lees and 24 months in bottle. Pale yellow-green, it shows lemon, peach, jasmine, seaweed, wet stone, and subtle barrel notes of smoke and butter. The palate is fine and layered, finishing dry with a clear saline edge. 13.2% alc., TA 6.2 g/L, pH 3.40, total SO? 38 mg/L.
